There are many restaurants in the immediate area featuring local favorites to destinations sought by foodies.  Some of these follow:

Belfast: Darby’s, Dockside and Rollie’s Bar and Grill are local favorites.  Chase’s Daily features a vegetarian menu and is very popular especially in the summer. Breakfast and lunch daily and dinner Friday nights.

Lincolnville and Lincolnville Beach:  The Lobster Pound and McLaughlin’s Lobster Shack serve traditional seafood dishes.  The Whale’s Tooth offers a larger menu.

Camden/Rockport:  The Waterfront and Peter Ott’s offer covered outside decks overlooking Camden Harbor, a great spot for lunch and watching schooners arrive and depart.  Sea Dog Brewery on Main Street on Main Street is a brew pub with a deck overlooking the harbor.  Long Grain serves asian dishes, very popular, reservations recommended.  Francine Bistro is an excellent award-winning restaurant, reservations strongly recommended.
